Even though I’m a 40-year old Stay-At-Home-Mum, I still love fashion. Yes, most of my life is scheduled between school runs, play dates and running errands, but I still want to look good. My mum-wardrobe consists of a lot of leggings but I still want to look like I haven’t given up on fashion just because I’ve given up work. I love high street and designer, but I really love a look that says that I’m fashionable and comfortable. So I was thrilled when Farfetch invited me to discuss life and fashion with two other American expat bloggers at The Wolseley.
It was lovely meeting Laurie from New Yorker Meets London and Christy from American Girl in Chelsea. We spoke about fashion, being expats and how we love London. And we also had some delicious food. I’ve been to The Wolseley several times, but this was my first time for breakfast. If you’re in London, you must pop in for a bite. Not counting the yummy food, the restaurant itself is gorgeous (it was built in the 1920s as a car showroom).
