A Little Bit of Peace, On My Wrist

Ever since I was a teenager, I have had a fondness with peace sign jewellery. It started with a beloved pair of earrings, then it was a chunky ring. In my mid-20s, I began to dress more conservatively. When you're young, and working in an office, you're desperate for people to respect you. But I've been out of the traditional 9 to 5 for over five years now. And I've stopped listening to fashion rules and I just wear whatever makes me happy. Cue my new peace sign bracelet from Chlobo.

First, when the bracelet arrived, I was struck at the fact that it comes in a pretty pink bag, as well as a lovely gift box. So if the jewellery is for someone else, they will feel quite pleased at its presentation. The Be Edgy bracelet is even more gorgeous in real life. Although it looks lovely on its own, I love adding it to lots of bracelets for a funkier feel. And as the bracelet is elasticated, you don't have to worry about a pesky clasp (me and bracelet clasps do not go well together).

My new bracelet is plated with rose gold over 925 silver. And it has these lovely Eagle Eye gemstones which are of differing hues of grey. A few years ago, our home was burglarised and all my gold jewellery was stolen. So it makes me so happy when I can add more pretty jewellery into my life.

Chlobo are known for their stacking bracelets, and there are loads to choose from. Wear loads for an edgier vibe, or just one or two for a more delicate look. Perhaps have a look online and leave the web page open for a loved one to find. After all, Mother's Day is coming up.

I was given the choice of a bracelet for the purposes of this review. All opinions expressed are entirely my own.
