I love this photo. Moozles and I were on the Treetop Walkway at Kew Gardens last weekend. I grabbed her for a quick selfie, and she’s smiling so hard that her eyes are squeezed shut. Aww, look at her little face. We had such a fun day. Moozles has had a lot of behavioural issues the past few months. Too much rudeness and teenage sassiness for a seven year-old. But this month she has started to act like her old self, and we are having fun together again.
I have shown you mine, so come on and show me yours. You have been sharing some fab parent-selfies these past few months. And we had some gorgeous ones last month. I started the Monthly Monday Melfie linky to help remind myself to take photos of myself with my kids. And it has really helped. I hope you will join in/continue to join in. You can write as little or as much as you want.
Let’s see how you are getting in the picture. It can be a selfie on your phone, using a selfie stick or setting the timer on your camera or phone. As long as your camera roll has photos of you lovely parents with your lovely children. Grab the badge below, link up and tweet up. If you tag me into your tweet (@CalifornianMum), I will re-tweet you. #monthlymondaymelfie

Aww gorgeous pic. I love it when they smile so hard that their faces squish up and you can’t see their eyes. The sign of a truly happy child. Perfect melfie. xx
Aww, thanks hun. How sad that adults never seem to get that happy. xx
Oh bless her that is so darling and it makes a truly beautiful #Melfie! I’m so glad that Moozle is start to act like her old self again.xx
Thanks. I think age seven is much easier than age six was. For sure!
Aww lovely smiley photo. Sometimes I think z is 4 going on 14!
For us, ages 4-6 were the toughest. I much prefer my daughter at age 7. It’s like her hormones have calmed down. 🙂
Gorgeous photo. You both look so happy. X
Thanks Lyn. We were both in such a great mood that day. x
Gorgeous picture, I love those big cheesy smiles where their faces are all screwed up. I’m glad she is returning to her old self. Tantrums are TOUGH x x
Tantrums are the worst. I’m glad things are getting back to normal too. 🙂 xx
