This month my baby boy turned the big 0-3. I am not sure how three years have flown by so quickly. It seems like just yesterday we brought him home from the hospital. He was such a sweet and happy baby, who wanted to eat all the time. Not much has changed.
I had a c-section with Dubz, like with his sister, as he was also breech. And in the hospital, they told me I had had Group Strep B. After four days in the hospital, I spent seven days at home looking for signs that my son wasn’t unwell. I was so worried that I could barely enjoy that first week. But then he was fine, and I was so relieved.
I wanted to share this photo. Dubz was napping in his moses basket in his first week of life, looking so serious and strong yet so peaceful. Wearing a hand-me-down sleepsuit from his big sister. And the way he curled his hand under his eye. There was just something in that expression. Words cannot express how much I adore this boy. My baby boy.
