Where’s My Doll Wednesday

Where's My Doll Wednesday

If you read my recent post called A Special Doll, you would know that my daughter Moozles has a fancy schmancy new doll. What you didn’t see was the pure jealousy my son felt as I took photos of his big sister with the doll. You see, when Moozles goes to school, Dubz plays with her doll. And he has gotten to think that it is his doll. So while you may have read the post, and seen the nice photos. You didn’t see this. The tantrum behind the photos.

Firefighter Wednesday

Fire-fighter Wednesday

Look at that face. Eek. Not the kind of cute sibling photo I was hoping for. We went to the Museum of London on Sunday. Moozles is learning about the Great Fire of London (she’s in Year Two) and they have a permanent exhibit. She and Dubz were trying on firefighter hats. Dubz had a modern hat (and an old-fashioned bucket) and Moozles had an old hat. Apparently the old-fashioned hat was heavy. This is why she kinda looks like she’s straight out of a horror movie.

Wide-Mouth Wednesday

Wide-Mouth Wednesday

We spent a few days in Warwickshire this half-term visiting my in-laws. We went to Hatton Country World on Monday, for farm and playground fun. They even had a real pumpkin patch, complete with a Pumpkin Scarecrow Monster (as we called him). Dubz, at two years old, is obsessed with monsters and anything that might say ‘arrrrr’. I tried to get a photo of Dubz with the scarecrow but his ever-talking, ever-wide-mouthed sister was in the way. We finally managed to go pick pumpkins, after dragging Dubz away from the Pumpkin Scarecrow Monster. Arrrrrr. *scary face*

Get Off The Frickin Table Wednesday

That’s right, it’s Wednesday again. Which means another ridiculous photo of one of my ridiculous children. This time it’s da boy. Last week, after he finished his lunch, I told Dubz that it was time to go upstairs for a nap. And he reacted like any normal two-year old. He got up onto the table and had a cry. Eventually he marched himself upstairs and passed out within one minute of being put into his cotbed.

Royal Wicked Wednesday

Royal Wicked Wednesday

My daughter, Moozles, wanted to play dress up on Monday afternoon. Her two-year old brother, Dubz, did not want to be left out. So while Moozles dressed up as Queen Elsa, Dubz donned Moozles’ Belle costume. I love this photo. Moozles is looking delicate and shy, like a princess. Dubz is just making a weird face.

Royal Wicked WednesdayThe beauty of having a big sister, there is a surplus of princess costumes, hair accessories and high heels to experiment with.

I also had to share this photo. It looks like Dubz is gazing at his sister adoringly. He’s actually squatting because he is doing a poo (in his nappy, thankfully).

Always handy having blackmail photos for when the kids get older. haha
