I went to an event next to Tower Bridge on Thursday evening. On the way there, from the tube, I passed by the Tower of London. I couldn’t resist stopping to take a photo as if I were a tourist. I don’t go to that part of London very often, so I guess I was a tourist. The sky was cloudy and threatening to rain. As I took the photo, I noticed The Shard towering behind. I love the contrasts in London – modern and old co-existing so wonderfully.
That is really cool to see the old with the new!
I love old and new together too. Glad you’re still getting the chance to feel like a tourist every now and again. Keeps things fresh.Great photo love x
Such an impressive building, it looks strangely naked without the poppies there now
It’s true, the poppies made it seem even more magical!
They work so well and i love The Shard
Thank you for linking up
The designers are amazing in thinking on how the old and new would co exist well. This is such a lovely view =) #mysundayphoto
